How to Sync Google Reviews to Your AesthetiDocs Booking Page
1. Understand the review options in AesthetiDocs 0:13
AesthetiDocs supports two types of reviews:
AesthetiDocs reviews: collected automatically after treatment
Google reviews: can be displayed on your booking page
This walkthrough focuses on syncing Google reviews into AesthetiDocs so they appear publicly on your booking page.
2. Open the Google Reviews settings 0:36
In AesthetiDocs, go to Settings in the left-hand menu.
Find Google Reviews under External Booking Settings.
Open this section to begin the setup.
3. Enable Google Reviews 0:50
Turn on the Enable Google Reviews toggle.
This activates the Google reviews integration for your account.
If reviews are already showing, the integration may already be enabled.
4. Configure advanced review display settings 1:06
Use Advanced Settings to control which reviews are published.
You can filter reviews by star rating, for example:
show only 4-star and above reviews
or choose other rating thresholds as needed
Adjust these settings based on what you want displayed on your booking page.
5. Sync your Google account 1:29
Click Sync with Google to start the connection process.
Sign in to your Google account if prompted.
Google will check which businesses or services you manage before continuing.
6. Select the correct business location 2:04
If you manage multiple clinics or businesses, choose the one you want to sync.
Click Select on the correct business profile.
AesthetiDocs will then pull in the reviews from that business.
7. Wait for the reviews to finish syncing 2:24
The sync usually takes a minute or two.
It may take longer if you have a large number of reviews.
Once complete, the reviews will be available in your AesthetiDocs account.
8. Confirm the reviews appear on your booking page 2:44
Visit your booking page to verify the sync worked.
You should see a Google reviews carousel on the home screen.
On the booking flow, the most recent reviews will also appear underneath the booking section.
9. Use privacy options if needed 2:54
AesthetiDocs lets you anonymise reviews completely.
You can also show only a patient’s initials instead of their full name.
This helps maintain discretion while still displaying social proof.
10. Final result and next steps 3:21
Once synced, your patients will see your Google reviews while browsing and booking.
This helps reinforce trust with visible five-star feedback.
If you need more help, refer to the separate AesthetiDocs reviews video or contact the support team.
Cautionary Notes
Ensure you are signed into the correct Google account before syncing.
If you manage multiple businesses, choose the correct clinic location to avoid syncing the wrong reviews.
Review display filters may hide some reviews if the star-rating threshold is set too high.
Syncing may take longer if there are many reviews.
Check privacy settings before publishing reviews publicly on the booking page.
Tips for Efficiency
Set your preferred review filter before syncing to avoid reconfiguring later.
Keep Google Chrome signed in to reduce login friction during the sync process.
Verify the booking page immediately after syncing to confirm the carousel and recent reviews are visible.
Use initials or anonymized display if you want to maintain patient discretion while still showcasing feedback.
