This article will guide you through creating a new service and configuring its pricing, including how to set different prices for different team members and choose the right pricing type for your booking page.

How to Add, Edit, and Manage Your Services

This guide will walk you through the process of adding new services, editing existing ones, and setting up service categories within your AesthetiDocs account. Managing your services is done through the Admin Dashboard.

Accessing the Admin Dashboard

  1. Log in to your AesthetiDocs account.

  2. Navigate to your Settings tab.

  3. Click on the link to access your Admin Dashboard.

    • Note: In the future, these settings will be moved directly into the main Settings section. For now, please use the Admin Dashboard link.

The Admin Dashboard is where you can manage all your service and booking settings.

Step 1: Ensure You Have the Correct Service Categories

Before adding a specific service, you need to have the appropriate treatment category set up. Categories help organize your services (e.g., Consultation, Anti-Wrinkle, Dermal Filler).

  1. Within your Admin Dashboard, locate and click on the Services tab.

  2. Here, you can view your existing service categories.

To add a new category:

  • Click the option to create a new category.

  • Give it a name (e.g., "Skin Boosters").

  • You can also assign a color code. This color will be used for appointments on your calendar for easy identification.

Step 2: Adding or Editing a Service

Once your categories are set up, you can add individual services to them.

  1. In the Services tab, click to add a new service or select an existing one to edit.

  2. You will be able to configure the following details:

    • Service Name: The name of the treatment.

    • Category: Assign the service to one of your existing categories.

    • Pricing: Set the price for the service.

    • Practitioner-Specific Pricing: You can set different prices for different practitioners. For example, a service could be £275 when booked with one practitioner and £350 when booked with another.

    • Pricing Type: Use the dropdown menu to select how the price is displayed:

      • Fixed Price: A set price (e.g., £275).

      • Price From: Shows a starting price (e.g., "From £250").

      • Free: For complimentary services.

  3. Once you are happy with all the settings, click Create or Save.

As soon as you save the service, it will immediately become available for clients to book through your online booking platform. The service will also appear in your main list of services for easy management.
